SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the heat and power industry, in particular, to the electrohydrodynamic heat-generator intended for usage in the composition of the various heating systems (predominantly in the systems of the stand-alone type) and also for heating up the water and other fluidic substances for household and industrial needs. The purpose of the invention is the increase of efficiency of the heat generation, which is achieved by introduction into the cylindrical part of the body of the heat-generator of the electrode made in the form of the auger (the swirler) with the variable diameter and the pitch of the spin and feeding between the body and this electrode of the low-voltage tension for the starting heating of the working liquid (the heat carrier), for example, water. The heat generation in the heat-generator happens in general due to acceleration and inhibition of the working liquid (including water). The heat-generator has the high efficiency and the high speed of the heating, it is the ecologically harmless, the fire-safe, simple in production, maintenance and operation. The heater systems made on the basis of the presented heat-generator have the rather low net cost and expenditures at operation.
