FIELD: electromechanical engineering; rotors of air-cooled electrical machines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotor is provided with guide vanes made of nonmagnetic material and tangentially disposed between poles, baffle plates in the form of semi-bowl, radial troughs disposed on butt-end surface of rotor, and axial ducts communicating with respective radial ones. Rotor incorporates provision for raising current density thereby enhancing electrical machine efficiency.
EFFECT: improved cooling conditions for all stator and rotor parts, reduced temperature and enlarged service life of windings.
