FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to cooling of dynamo-electric machines. A wind generator comprises a stator (1) made as a laminated stack with a system of windings forming coil ends (16) at the stator (1) ends. A rotor (3) made as a laminated stack is coupled to a shaft (7) without cranking option. The stator (1) and rotor (3) are installed in the same housing. The shaft (7) is mounted on bearings (9) in end shields (8). The laminated stack of stator (1) and/or rotor (1) comprises axial cooling channels (15). The end shields form with the housing a closed inner space that contains at least one inner closed cooling circuit. The housing comprises an outer shell (12) and an inner shell (19) located at a distance from it in some places and faced to the stator (1). The outer (12) and inner (19) shells form together a cooling jacket (11), in particular, a fluid cooling jacket, which axial length corresponds to at least the axial length of the laminated stack of the stator (1).
EFFECT: improvement of cooling.
