FIELD: dc high-power supplies with electrically isolated circuits.

SUBSTANCE: novelty is that proposed converter incorporating transformer connected to supply mains through inverter has parallel-connected damping circuit inserted between rectifier and load filter which is provided with series-connected diode and capacitor; connected in parallel with load is also circuit set up of choke coil and cumulatively connected diode, controlled switch being connected to midpoints of parallel circuits. High-frequency oscillation voltage is stored in capacitor when switch is closed and conveyed to load through choke coil when switch is partially opened; high-frequency oscillation voltages are picked off rectifier diodes.

EFFECT: reduced size, cost, and noise.
