FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, sowing of cereal crop seeds.
SUBSTANCE: method involves sowing seeds in fan-like manner forward of tractor; simultaneously mellowing and partially turning soil layer, undercutting ridges at seed embedding level, distributing seeds over furrow bottom, compacting soil and leveling surface of sown field. Unit for effectuating said method has tractor with front and rear suspensions. Seed dissipating device is located on front suspension. Carrier system with embedding tools, disks, hoes, rollers is located on rear suspension. Hoes are positioned on spring-loaded four-link mechanism. Rollers united in blocks are provided with bars. On the first roller, bars are arranged at two levels and are made O-shaped. Bars fixed on the second roller, are made O-shaped.
EFFECT: provision for creating conditions for simultaneous germination of crop seeds to be cultivated and also for forming wind and water resistant field surface.
