FIELD: engineering of sedimentation tanks for cleaning sewage, possible usage for cleaning sewage from precipitating and floating suspended substances.
SUBSTANCE: sedimentation tank contains cylindrical body, conical wall in cylindrical section of body, distributing branch pipes, connected to gutter for feeding sewage and positioned inside the conical wall. Bowl for removal of floating substances is made with toothed spillway weir.
EFFECT: intensification of cleaning of sewage from precipitating and floating substances due to improved hydrodynamic characteristics.
