FRICTION CONTROL BASED METHOD FOR APPLICATION OF COVER MADE OF PLASTIC METALS ON FRICTION SURFACE OF MATED PARTS AND DEVICE FOR ITS REALIZATION Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B05D1/04 B05B5/47

FIELD: mechanical engineering, possible use for increasing wear resistance of parts of friction pair of mating of, for example, between wheels and rails of railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: method is based on application of anti-wear cover in dynamics of movement, for restoration of wear of joint during mutual friction, simultaneous application of anti-wear cover is performed, which cover is made of plastic metals in form of film 1,0-1,5 micrometers thick on the friction surface of joint parts, by means of selective transfer of ions of plastic metals onto contact surfaces of parts from metal-plating ionization solution positioned in volume friction zone, containing in form of ions up to 10% of mass share of composite of plastic metals being applied, evenly distributed in remaining mass of liquid components, having surface-active and restorative properties, while solution is fed depending on appearing pressure in friction zone of joint parts in accordance to scheme of periodic or constant injection. Device for realization of method is positioned on frames of transport and wheel pair carriage and contains input pneumatic distributor, connected to pneumatic main and to electric circuit of transport control panel, reservoir with metal-plating ionization solution, working pneumatic distributor, connected through throttle to input pneumatic distributor and by electric connection to block for controlling passage of programmed part of way and switch-on time interval, regulator, containing pneumatic cylinder, containing spring-loaded piston, circular chamber, connected to output of reservoir pipeline and to input of sprayer pipeline for providing feeding to pipeline and for injection by sprayer of metal-plating ionization solution into friction zone of joint parts, auxiliary chamber, connected to output of reservoir pipeline, and main chamber, connected to input of sprayer pipeline, spring-loaded valve positioned between them with lower and upper rods, vane, made with possible contact to lower rod, mounted with support part let through spring-loaded moveable bushing into right support of regulator, and with working part inserted into its left support, and which by force of spring maintains direct contact with vertical surface of carriage frame, while sprayer is mounted on the frame of carriage.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides for more than 20-fold increase in wear resistance of parts; costs of maintenance of wheel pairs and railway tracks are reduced 15-20-fold, idle time of transport during maintenance is reduced by 30% and flow of traffic is increased by 25%; yearly economic effect from utilization of invention during operation of a set of 50 locomotives constitutes 3,60 million rubles, without taking increase of resource of railway tracks, decreased idle time of vehicles during maintenance, and amortization of technological equipment, into consideration.
