FIELD: well construction, particularly rock-cutting tool drives and stuck pipe unscrewing means for mine and oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: downhole motor comprises body with working agent injection chamber and rotor installed in body interior. The body is composed of several parts provided with opposite inner extensions located at different levels. Working agent injection chambers are made in the body as annular groove segments having opposite directed curvatures. The first ends of the segments are provided with blind bottoms located on diametrical line. The second segment ends are opened. The segments are communicated with body interior through mating inner extensions. The rotor is provided with mating extensions located from outer side thereof. The extensions periodically simultaneously movably contact with opposite inner extensions of the body. Upper rotor part has axial inner space hydraulically communicated with body interior through diametrical paired longitudinal channels, which pass in horizontal parts in lower pars thereof and have opposite rotor outlets coinciding with extensions. The horizontal parts of longitudinal channels are aligned with working agent injection chamber in clockwise or counterclockwise direction and are periodically aligned with opened ends of working agent injection chamber.

EFFECT: increased torque transmitted to rock-cutting tool and extended field of downhole motor application, possibility to use contactless free reactive rotor moment to create and convert working agent impact pressure into resuming body momentum along with couple moment reach increase.
