FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering, namely to a hydraulic downhole motor. Engine comprises body 1, a stator, gate 8 located in rotor 3. Stator surface interacting with gate 8 is designed so that its cross section is a closed fourth-order flat curve, distance between any two points of which, located on a straight line passing through a longitudinal axis of rotor 3, and contacting the opposite ends of gate 8, is a constant value equal to the cross dimension of gate 8. Interior volume of the engine is divided into several sections by sealing bushings 14. Rotor 3 is made hollow passing through all sections and is connected to a source of liquid at the inlet and with nozzle 4. Interior volume of rotor 3 in each section is connected to the internal volume of the stator located on both sides of gate 8 holes. Outlet 12 is formed in each section in the side surface of the stator in the region of maximum approach of the surfaces of rotor 3 and the stator. Gates 8 are installed one at a time in each section with an angular space relative to each other.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the working torque on the shaft.
