CLUTCH FOR STEPPED CASING PIPE CEMENTING Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC E21B33/14 

FIELD: oil production industry, particularly for casing pipe cementing.

SUBSTANCE: clutch comprises body with cementing orifices, bush-like shell arranged outside the body and defining annular cavity along with the body, as well as additional bush installed in the cavity. The body is provided with channels, which communicate annular cavity with body. The clutch has support bush, tail and adapter. Bush-like shell is rigidly connected to the body. Additional bush has channels communicating body interior with well annulus through cementing orifices. The clutch has gate installed in the body and connected to support bush. The clutch is also provided with tail to be installed inside the body and connected with the adapter. Check valve is installed in lower adapted part under transversal partition with longitudinal orifices. Channels, which communicate adapter interior with tubing-casing space, are created over the partition. Bush is slidably installed on adapter and is provided with spring retaining ring. Upper adapter part is connected with clutch with longitudinal ribs and has annular groove for spring retaining ring receiving, which is formed on outer surface thereof.

EFFECT: simplified structure, reduced metal consumption, increased productivity and cementing quality.
