SUBSTANCE: absorbing article comprises first liquid-permeable surface layer, second essentially liquid-impermeable layer, essentially liquid-impermeable protective layer, absorbing element interposed between said liquid-permeable surface layer and said protective layer, two barrier means to prevent leakings formed from flexible material and disposed in longitudinal direction on each side from longitudinal median and liquid-permeable surface layer. Each of barrier means has first surface and second surface attached to or near first liquid-permeable surface layer and/or second liquid-impermeable layer.
EFFECT: prevented collapse and compression of barrier means.
