FIELD: metallurgy, possibly metal casting.
SUBSTANCE: refractory ceramic part is in the form of sleeve receiving strike of flow of melt metal or it is in the form of receiving chute. Part includes bottom and at least two walls. Inner surfaces of such walls at least their separate portions form with plane normal relative to bottom angle more than 0° and less than 90° and they are inclined to opposite sides. Opening is formed between free ends of walls. Between said opening and bottom there is at least one portion where spacing between inner surfaces of walls is less than distance between inner surfaces of said walls in zones adjacent to opening and to bottom.
EFFECT: lowered turbulence of metal flow, reduced wear, simplified production process of part.
