FIELD: transport engineering; contact systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment used to maintain mechanical tension of trolleybus contact system conductors at temperature fluctuations in different seasons. Proposed weight tension regulator contains weights suspended on support through back cable, sheaves and insulators connected with contact wire fastening unit. Contact wire fastening unit is furnished with holder made in form of grips secured on upper part of contact wire and insulated from each other which are attached to back cable connected with insulators and weights. To provide longitudinal and cross displacement of contact wire, sliders are installed in fastening units. Contact with holders contain cheeks with pin passed through coaxial holes of cheeks. Said pin consists of two cylindrical parts of different diameters with eye for back cable on end of larger diameter part. Holder is fixed on smaller diameter part of pin by cotter pin.
EFFECT: improved reliability of operation of trolleybuses, reduced service expanses and capital outlays.
