FIELD: monitoring systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of monitoring and monitoring the state of contact network of rail vehicles. System comprises sensors of physical suspension parameters, distributed on at least one anchor section of contact network, a unit for collecting information formed by sensors, a unit for processing information collected by an information collection unit and a unit for alerting personnel on an emergency situation on a section of the catenary network located on the anchor section, where information collection unit and information processing unit are connected to power supply circuits to at least one uninterrupted power supply unit, unit for providing information processing is uninterruptedly connected to an information collection unit and is provided processing information in such a way that based on results of processing information generated by sensors, continuously generating decisions on guaranteed absence or on possible availability of emergency situation on anchor section, and when forming a decision on a possible emergency situation, an alert is generated on the possibility of occurrence of an emergency situation, sent over an uninterrupted data transmission network to mobile devices of operational personnel responsible for the section of the contact network, on which the anchor section is located.
