FIELD: railway transport; permanent way.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to improve construction of switches. Proposed switch contains switch rails on baseplates forming track, side stops fixing position of said rails and two steel angle plates assembling switch into common unit and arranged along switch rails at different sides of track. Angle plates are installed on baseplates proper, close to switch rails. Side stops are made in form of flat gusset plates welded to vertical web of angle plate. Invention improves quality and level of mechanization of track works owing to development of measures providing employment of track repair machines on switch sections where use of said machines on switches of existing design is not possible.

EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
