SPACING LUG FOR STUB-SWITCH POINTER Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC E01B7/00 

FIELD: construction, roads.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly to stub-switch pointers designs. Spacing lug for stub-switch pointer consists of a basis with holes for bolting, horizontal element interacting with the head of rail to be fixed and vertical wall with contact element provided with supporting platform. The spacing lug includes also planted placket fixed to the upper end of the vertical wall and clutching horizontal element represented as a wedge. Position of horizontal element can be changed depending on a distance between vertical wall and fixed rail head.

EFFECT: improved reliability of spacing lugs due to independent control of clearances between fixed rail and each lug element designed to interact with rail.
