FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly fish passes for permitting fish passage through support structures to fish hatchery and growth areas.
SUBSTANCE: method involves creating fish-attractive zone at water intake structure inlet by opening main supply unit for predetermined extent; supplying main attractive flow through the full depth of fish accumulation basin flow; supplying additional fish-attractive flow over fish accumulation basin flow surface, wherein the additional flow is fed as non-submersed hydraulic jets, which provide fish-attractive acoustic "rain" effect. Additional fish-attractive flow portion is supplied via independent supply unit to provide fish attraction from water discharge front of hydrosystem. Additional fish-attractive flow is supplied over water surface along outer fish accumulation basin sides as non-submersed hydraulic jets, which provide fish-attractive acoustic "rain" effect. Fish pass for above method realization is also disclosed.
EFFECT: improved hydraulic conditions to attract fish from water discharge front of hydrosystem.
