HYDROSYSTEM (VARIANTS) Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC E02B8/08

Abstract RU 2280732 C1

FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly fish passes adapted to permit fish passage through support structures to fish hatchery and growth areas.

SUBSTANCE: hydrosystem comprises spillaway dam, fish passing structure, which connects lower and upper pools of hydrosystem by fish pass and additional feeding unit made as a tray adjoining inlet head of fish passing structure. The tray is built in spillaway dam span and provided with locks in inlet and outlet parts. Outlet part thereof communicates with upper pool. Fish passing structure is made as fish pass canal with rough members grouped in transversal rows. The rows are installed on canal bottom and distributed along fish pass. Inlet part of additional feeding unit tray is arranged in common cross-section with inlet head of fish passing structure and creates fish-attractive aperture. Additional feeding unit tray is provided with ichthyologic platform and stimulation means and has flat bottom. Mouth part of fish pass canal is connected with additional feeding unit by means of side bypass gallery having inlet orifices extending along inner side wall of additional feeding unit tray, wherein above side wall adjoins convex side of fish pass canal mouth. Outlet orifices of bypass gallery are located on water-bound slope of fish pass canal mouth having large radius of curvature. In accordance with the second hydrosystem embodiment additional feeding unit tray is made as fish pass defined by transversal partitions and surface swimming-in orifices. Head part of fish pass channel is connected to upper hydrosystem pool through side bypass gallery having inlet orifices made in upper pool.

EFFECT: provision of hydraulic conditions efficient for fish attraction, extended functional capabilities of additional feeding unit.
