FIELD: mining, particularly equipment for water, oil, gas and underground leaching wells drilled in productive formation made up of loose rock.

SUBSTANCE: well screen comprises filtering shell, basic member made as pipe, longitudinal rod-like members and support rings. The support rings are provided with outer grooves for longitudinal members receiving and with inner grooves. Inner grooves form longitudinal channels along with basic members. Longitudinal members are created of rods made as right-angled triangles. Legs of the triangles define outer filtering shell diameter. Acute angles of the rods made as right-angled triangles are installed in longitudinal channels to provide single-sided expansion and directed filterable agent flows.

EFFECT: provision of stable arch structure forming around well screen to prevent rock particle and sand lifting due to system operation optimization, as well as simplified screen assemblage.
