FIELD: aerial measurements.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for studying of directional patterns and amplitude-frequency characteristics of aerials. Microwave monochromatic signals are used as probing signals. When receiving signals, the Asynchronized stroboscopic receiver is used. Instant maximal values of received signal are selected, which values are used to evaluate amplitude-frequency characteristics of aerial to be studied. Quick transition from super wide-band measurements to monochromatic ones is provided and frequency area of measurements can be widened till tens and hundreds GHz as well as calibration of super wide-band measurements.
EFFECT: improved efficiency; ability of keeping process of measurement in evidence.
