FIELD: mobile cell communications with usage of composite broadcast messages of type Point-to-MultiPoint for display of messages on cell phones; in particular, invention is related to long display messages, containing two or more Point-to-MultiPoint messages, transmitted to personal cell communication stations.
SUBSTANCE: method provides access to pseudo-header, including field identifier of Point-to-MultiPoint message being transmitted, for certain number P greater than one, of Point-to-MultiPoint messages being transferred onto screen. Therefore, a series of Point-to-MultiPoint messages Q=(1,2,...,P-1,P) may be specified and a certain Point-to-MultiPoint message may be found. Pseudo-header may additionally contain two or more micro-messages in its combined macro-message.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of usage of cell broadcast channels meant for transmission of messages.
