FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of locomotive running gear, traction force transmission mechanism and mechanism for radial setting of wheelset axles. Frame 1 of eight-axle railway traction vehicle has two central traction brackets 3, each being connected with frame of corresponding bogies by articulated tie-rods arranged along longitudinal axis of traction vehicle at angles to horizontal and lower than level of wheelset axles. Traction electric motors 16 are installed on axle of each bogie with opposite arrangement of their swinging suspensions 17 towards cross axis of each bogie. Second ends of switching suspensions of traction motors are hinge-connected on frames of corresponding bogies. Frame is furnished with side brackets 5 hinge-connected with brackets of wheelset axle-boxes by ties 24. According to second design version, tie-rods are arranged horizontally, lower than level of wheelset axles, and switching suspensions are arranged in tandem towards middle of railway traction vehicle and are hinge-secured on its frame. According to third design version, tie-rods are arranged at angles to horizontal at level of wheelset axles, and swinging suspensions are arranged in tandem towards middle of railway traction vehicle, being hinge-fastened on its frame.
EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of bogies and vehicle, reduced dynamic loads.
