FIELD: shipbuilding; devices for measurement of watercraft draft in swell and in smooth water.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes two pressure transducers with electric output which are mounted on one normal to watercraft BL; they are mounted at fixed distance from each other; device is also provided with electronic transducer and tube mounted on watercraft above pressure transducers and communicated with atmosphere by its upper part located near level of maximum static draft of watercraft. Lower part of this tube located near level of minimum static draft of watercraft is communicated with pressure transducers and with outboard water space through throttle valve. Device is additionally provided with pressure transducer directly communicated with electric output. All pressure transducers are connected with electronic transducer to which electric signals for determination of draft are fed. Pressure transducers are made in form of absolute pressure sensors having zero magnitudes of output signals at normal atmospheric pressure delivered to them.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of measurements.
