FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, cereal crop threshing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: thresher has housing equipped with side panels and incorporating threshing device, beater, main straw-walker, additional straw-walker, and screen-air cleaner. Drum and deck of threshing device and beater are fixed on side panels of thresher by means of detachable flange connections. Thresher is made so that single-drum threshing device may be converted into two-drum type device, and vice versa. Additional straw-walker is mounted on two crankshafts with individual drive. Both straw-walkers are positioned for vibrating at amplitude and frequency equal to or differing from one another. Fixed gap is provided between rear part of each walker of additional straw-walker and front part of walkers of main straw-walker in case drive crankshafts thereof are rotating out of synchronism.

EFFECT: wider operational capabilities of grain combine owing to the possibility of converting single-drum thresher into two-drum thresher, and vice versa, and improved quality of threshing.
