FIELD: glass industry; methods of production of the optical lenses.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of the glass industry, in particular, to the processes of production of the optical systems lenses used in the modern optical and the optoelectronic devices working in the visible and the infra-red - fields of spectrums, and which may be used at production of lenses made out of the leucosapphire and other uniaxial crystals. The technical result of the invention is production of the convex-concave lenses with the minimal birefringence and transparent in the range of 25000-2000 cm-1. The concave-convex billets are manufactured by the plastic deformation of the bend of the plane-parallel plates from Z-type cut of the Al2O3 crystals, which is conducted by the hemispherical punch or by the punch made in the form of the spherical segment, and at the subsequent production operations the symmetry axis of the billet is orientated along the optical axis of the being manufactured lens.
EFFECT: the invention ensures production of the convex-concave lenses with the minimal birefringence and transparent in the indicated above range.
