FIELD: wood working, in particular, microwave wood working.
SUBSTANCE: the method for microwave working of wood with moisture content consists in determining the area of wood to be worked, selective exposure of the wood surface outside the mentioned determined area to microwave radiation within a frequency range from 0.1 to 24 GHz for creation of the zone with modified wood having an increased permeability relative to the non-worked wood. The mentioned zone is positioned in the outer shell of the wood and the pithy rays in it are directed from the wood pith to the radiated surface.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of material.
