FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: robotic complex for microwave radiation destruction of Sosnowsky's hogweed includes a power supply unit with adjustable power, a magnetron with power of 2 kW, a rectangular waveguide with a pyramidal horn with a height equal to double the wavelength, and a radiotransparent protective screen, fixed on a mechanism for raising/lowering the waveguide, self-propelled caterpillar chassis with accumulators and/or gasoline or diesel electric generator with electric motors and reduction gearboxes and IP-cameras. Complex moves at a speed of up to 4 km/h and provides dielectric heating at energy density higher than 4,902 kJ/m2 to temperatures above 48 °C both on the surface of the treatment zone and at the depth of the regeneration buds of up to 20 cm by setting time and power taking into account soil moisture determined on a real-time scale and controlled supported height of the mechanism of raising/lowering the waveguide at the level of half wavelength of 6 cm of microwave radiation of 2.45 GHz. Operation of the complex is carried out using a remote control panel.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of destruction of Sosnowsky's hogweed, namely regeneration buds on the stem at the depth of their location during long-term exposure to microwave radiation and green shoots with short-term exposure in conditions safe for the operator.
