FIELD: engineering of electro-heating devices for heating of, primarily, foodstuffs in cases, when heating element is close to food product being heated.

SUBSTANCE: emitting electro-heating element, meant for use in home appliance for making toasts, contains a base plate of stainless steel, onto one or each side of which first ceramic track is imprinted, on the surface of which, remote from the base plate, electro-conductive heating track is imprinted, on top of which second ceramic track is imprinted, as a result of which heating track is surrounded and compacted between two ceramic tracks. Such an element provides adequate radiated heat for efficient roasting of bread, and bread may be in direct contact with proposed element, while being electrically isolated from it by second ceramic track. Also provided is additional ceramic cover on the opposite side of base plate, for maintaining mechanical integrity to prevent hogging of element and uneven roasting resulting from it.
