FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves pulling plants and simultaneously forming two strips; spreading said strips on field in the vicinity of each other or in contact with each other with their box parts with bases oriented outward; drying stems with boxes so as to provide for seeds ripening; simultaneously picking up both strips while separating seed part of yield from stems and spreading it for ripening and producing treated plant fibers; transporting flax heap and processing it for producing of seeds; providing processes for preparing and harvesting of treated plant fibers; winding rolls of two strips placed onto one another with their apex portions, with bases being oriented outward. During flax pulling procedure, spreading on field two simultaneously formed strips of plants in the vicinity of each other or in contact with each other with their box parts, with base oriented outward, is provided by moving pulling machine in shuttling passes. In case each of two pulling machines are spreading two strips of plants in the vicinity of each other or in contact with each other with their box parts with bases oriented outward, joint shuttling motion of said machines is provided and strips are spread continuously in one and the same order, during which second machine follows first machine at first distance of 10-40 m. In case two strips of plants are spread in the vicinity of each other or in contact with each other with their box parts with bases oriented outward by providing shuttling motion of pulling machine, looped 8-shaped turning motion of machine is used, with lateral departure to flax edge on field. During operation of two machines on the field, each of machines spreads two strips in the vicinity of each other or in contact with each other with their box parts with bases oriented outward, first of said machines performs looped 8-shaped turning motion with lateral departure to edge of pulled flax, and second machine - to edge of unpulled flax.
EFFECT: increased yield of elongated filaments upon processing of treated plant fibers.
