FIELD: cleaning articles from paints and varnishes; cleaning of technological equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes placing the articles in cleaning reservoirs, delivery of liquid solvent, cleaning articles with solvent, removal of solvent from cleaning reservoir, withdrawal of articles from cleaning reservoir, regeneration of solvent by evaporation and return of regenerated solvent for cleaning the articles. Used as solvent is methylene chloride. After articles have been placed in cleaning reservoir, solvent is subjected to shielding by placing layer of water above it; regeneration of solvent is performed continuously and simultaneously with cleaning process. Upon completion of cleaning process, solvent is discharged from cleaning reservoir by replacing it with water kept above it; washed-off paints and varnishes are utilized by diluting with standard solvent. Device proposed for realization of this method includes reservoir filled with solvent, cleaning reservoir connected with solvent reservoir by means of solvent delivery line and solvent discharge line provided with pump. Device is also provided with additional reservoir for waste solvent and distillation apparatus for regeneration of solvent which is connected with line equipped with additional reservoir and with clean solvent discharge line.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning; increased productivity; reduced power requirements.
