FIELD: shipbuilding; shallow-draft tankers of combination river-sea navigation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tanker is provided with longitudinal wall mounted in center of deck and rigidly connected with deck and with flying bridge over a length of no less than 0.4 of ship's length. Longitudinal wall and flying bridge are continuous over this length; they are made from material possessing higher strength as compared with material of hull. Longitudinal wall is provided with taper knees at areas of their termination.
EFFECT: enhanced strength; enhanced ecological safety; increased cargo capacity due to reduction of sagging and draft of tanker in loaded state.
