FIELD: anti-icing materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a composition used for removing ice and protection of its formation on different surfaces, mainly, on windshield glasses. Compositions comprise succinate chosen from the group consisting of potassium succinate, ammonium succinate and sodium succinate taken in the effective amount for removing ice from surface and at least one agent for decreasing the freezing point chosen from the group comprising monohydric (C1-C6)-alcohols, polyhydric (C3-C12)-alcohols, monomethyl or monoethyl ethers of polyhydric alcohols and their mixtures. The composition comprises also organic surface-active substance promoting to spreading the composition on surface. Compositions are useful especially for protection against icing and washing out windshield glasses. Partial variants in realization of compositions show ecological harmlessness. Invention provides melting capacity of ice as compared with similar capacity of succinate or alcohol taken separately being especially at temperature lower about -10°C.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of composition.
