FIELD: petroleum extracting industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions used in treatment of oil pool and designated for limitation of water inflow in mining well and regulation of the intake capacity pattern of injection wells. The composition for treatment of oil pool comprises, wt.-%: polyethylene oxide, 0.01-0.5; clay powder or chalk, or powdered wood, or slomel, 16-30; sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, or caustic soda, 0.05-2.0, and water, the balance. Invention provides enhancing effectiveness of the composition based on improving rheological properties and preparing the homogenous kinetically stable system and expanding technological possibilities in using the composition.
