FIELD: petroleum and gas extracting industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-hardenable sealants for threading joints of pipes for petroleum assortment that are subjected for "screwing-unscrewing" and bending, in particular, drilling and pump-compressor pipes in building and exploitation of wells. Non-hardenable sealant comprises, wt.-%: sealing lubricant R-113 or R-416 based on oil-silicone base, 98.0-99.5, and swollen vermiculite sand of fraction 0.3-1.0 mm as a damping additive, the balance. Using this non-hardenable sealant enhances the sealing capacity of threading joints in well and reduces energy consumptions for "screwing-unscrewing".
EFFECT: improved and valuable technical properties of sealant.
