SUBSTANCE: in a sealing method of threaded connections of pipes, which involves preparation of a surface of a threaded connection for creation of a porous adhesive corrosion-resistant layer on metal and filling of threaded space with sealing material, prior to application of the sealing material on the threaded surface of the item above the porous corrosion-resistant layer there is an applied polymer coating with addition of gamma sylon in the amount of 1-15% to weight fraction of dry residue of the polymer. This coating fulfils a function of a binding layer between the metal surface of the item and the sealing material. As sealing material, a composition of copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) with hexafluoropropylene (HFP) and graphite with filler is used in the following composition (weight parts): copolymer of TFE with HFP 80-99; graphite 1-20; fillers 0-15.
