FIELD: equipment for electrolytic extraction of metals from solutions, in particular, extraction of precious metals from alkalicianic eluates in gold extracting enterprises with cyanogens and coal-sorption processes of extraction of precious metals.
SUBSTANCE: electrolyzer has damping grid consisting of vertical metal plates having height making at least 20% the height of electrodes located perpendicular to longitudinal axis of electrolyzer and serving as supports for cathodes. Cathodes are made in the form of containers wherein metal grid is located, said grid being made in the form of corrugations oriented in vertical plane, and anodes are made in the form of metal sheets with metal net wound thereon. Settling chamber located under damping grid is made in the form of one or more upturned pyramids for discharging of slime, with walls being inclined at an angle of 55-60 deg to horizontal plane.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of metal extraction process and simplified maintenance.
