FIELD: engineering of devices for measuring level of easily evaporating, colorless liquid and taking samples of the same, for example, in reservoirs, cisterns and wells.
SUBSTANCE: level meter - sample taker for liquid contains hollow transparent measuring rod with applied measuring scale. In lower part measuring rod is connected to valve assembly, consisting of hollow body with locking element inside and its massive base, connected through lower input aperture of body to cross-shaped anvil and extender. Value of gap between locking element and body of valve assembly is adjusted by threaded connection between base of locking element and the anvil depending on viscosity of the liquid being studied.
EFFECT: simultaneous taking of sample from given depth and determining of liquid level, increased comfort when using the device.
