FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: fluid level meter comprises hollow sounding rod provided with handle and pressure-tight lid. The sounding rod is connected with the gas flow meter through flexible pipe and three-way cock. When measuring, the sounding rod is filled with fluid up to the level of fluid inside the vessel to be studied. The volume of fluid that occupies the sounding rod is equal to the volume of the gas-air mixture that is passed through the gas flow meter.
EFFECT: prolonged service life.
