FIELD: converter engineering; power supplies for direct-current loads.
SUBSTANCE: proposed converter that incorporates provision for raising ripple frequency by nine times in neutral circuit and by 18 times, in rectifier bridge circuit has three-phase transformer with primary winding and two groups of secondary windings interconnected in six-phase star with neutral brought out, as well as rectifying components connected to phase leads of secondary windings, neutral circuit arrangement being used for connecting them to one of these windings; newly introduced in transformer is additional group of secondary windings. These windings are connected in one of design alternates in star and each phase winding of one group of secondary windings is connected through rectifying components to unlike phases of additional secondary winding, load being inserted between neutral points of main secondary windings and additional one. Additional group of secondary windings in other design alternate has six similar phase windings, two ones per phase; each terminal of main group of secondary windings is directly connected to unlike-polarity terminals of two secondary phase windings of additional group; free terminals of all secondary-winding groups are connected to input of nine-phase bridge circuit whose output is connected to load. In both design alternates turn ratio of group phase winding coupled with additional phase winding to phase windings of other groups is
EFFECT: enhanced ripple frequency in neutral circuit and in rectifier bridge circuit at reduced mean value of rectifying diode anode current.
