FIELD: production of furniture, in particular, drop-type table used in rooms with restricted area.

SUBSTANCE: drop-type table has rotating table top pivotally attached to wall, transformable supporting member pivotally connected with its one end to rotating table top and pivotally connected with its other end to wall, and device for retaining of rotating table top in horizontal operating position, said device being located on transformable supporting member. Transformable supporting member is made telescopic and consists of tubular inner part embraced with tubular outer part. Free ends of supporting telescopic member are pivotally joined to wall and rotating table top. Device for retaining of rotating table top in horizontal operating position is mounted directly on supporting transformable member and comprises supporting stop, embracing antifriction bushing, stop finger, and supporting slot, which together enable automatic retaining and unblocking of table by only lifting said table top without need for applying of additional force.

EFFECT: improved operating characteristics and convenient usage of drop-type table.
