FIELD: labeling equipment.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus is designed for attachment of labels to containers having longitudinal axis and lock provided with surface having marking oriented perpendicular to longitudinal axis. Apparatus has optoelectrical device for determining orientation of containers, and device for turning containers around their axes for reaching desired orientation, at which orientation labels are attached to container in predetermined position, and device for attachment of labels. Signals of optoelectrical device are established relative to predetermined orientation of containers by means of control device. Device for turning containers is controlled by control device so that containers have desired orientation before labels are applied to containers. Orientation of containers is determined with the help of optoelectric device by marking of locks.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing correct orientation of container in case of axisymmetric arrangement of lock and container.
