FIELD: technology for testing electric machines by indirect methods.
SUBSTANCE: on rotor and stator of electric machine Hall sensors are mounted symmetrically to each other on opposite sides of rotor and stator. Constant electromagnetic field is excited and rotor of electric machine being tested is driven to rotation. Signals, proportional to magnetic field in the air gap between rotor and stator, are measured. On basis of comparison between measured signals, value of air gap between rotor and stator is estimated, and about value and type of misalignment of axes of rotor and stator.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
