FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling air gaps between an anchor and poles in electrical machines, based on measuring linear dimensions of parts of an electrical machine during assembly. Diameter of anchor and neck of frame for bearing shield and distance between device in form of bracket with digital rulers installed in necks of frame and poles are measured for control. Values of gaps, as well as their non-uniformity along length of poles are determined by given formulas.
EFFECT: high accuracy of monitoring, as well as eliminating the need for repeated disassembly-assembly of the machine, which improves quality of commutation adjustment of electrical machines.
