FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: hopper has reservoir incorporating rod-type spiral and four-blade dosing device arranged within reservoir. Rod-type spiral is positioned at vertical axis of symmetry of hopper reservoir for reciprocation and rotation therein. Fingers of different length are concentrically fixed on upper and end edges of blades within dosing device in the course of rotation, said fingers defining comb with height increasing from center. Spiral and blades of dosing device are driven through coupling, V-belt transmission and conical reducer from electric engine of discharge screw. Spiral and blades of dosing device have single axis of rotation. Lower end of spiral is telescopically connected with blades of dosing device, and its upper end is adjustably fixed so that its height may be regulated by means of bushing equipped with retainers. Spiral has pitch variable in height proportionally to sizes of hopper reservoir.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of hopper, reduced arching of feed within hopper, increased uniformity of discharge feed flow, and decreased consumption of power for dosing process.
