FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly fire-extinguishing compositions.

SUBSTANCE: foam composition comprises 3-6% aqueous surfactant solutions, 0.5-1.5% of saponified tall oil pitch or 1-3% of saponified sulfate soup, as well as 0.01-0.18% of gadolinium or 0.035-1.15% of boron taken as salts soluble in aqueous solutions of surfactant, saponified tall oil pitch and saponified sulfate soup.

EFFECT: possibility to retain radioactive combustion products with foam and prevention of chain fission reaction.
