FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, grain cleaning machines adapted for cleaning and sorting out of farm crop seeds.
SUBSTANCE: grain cleaning machine has frame, shaft arranged at an angle to horizontal plane and connected to frame through bearing units, tray fixed on shaft by means of bearing units, screen with convex shields attached to its side edges, said screen being rigidly connected with shaft, mechanism for connecting tray to screen and adapted for balancing of inertia force and conversion of vibration amplitude. Axle of said mechanism is secured on frame. Grain cleaning machine is further provided with single-phase frequency converter whose input is connected to ac mains, and three-phase asynchronous engine whose one winding is connected to ac mains and two other windings are connected in series and joined to frequency converter output. Engine stator made arcuate is placed within grain cleaning machine between screen and tray and is fixed on frame. Rotor is made in the form of screen embraced with massif stator made from magnetically conductive material and having coating of current-conductive material.
EFFECT: reduced costs, decreased sizes and weight of drive, enhanced reliability in operation and increased efficiency of grain cleaning machine.
