FIELD: metallurgy, namely rolled bar production, possibly rolling of steel angles with lowered thickness of flanges.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of multi-pass deforming of strip in horizontal and vertical rolls with grooved passes for forming opened up section and further bending of flanges. According to invention in pass previous to last but one pass flanges are bent in vertical rolls by angle 4 - 8° with simultaneous forming angle 70 - 73 ° at apex of section. In last but one pass rolling is realized in horizontal rolls at elongation degree 1.1 - 1.3 while forming between flanges angle equal to 90°20' - 90°55'. In last pass strip is reduced between horizontal rolls at elongation degree 1.05 - 1.10 while keeping angle between flanges formed in last but one pass. Invention provides high accuracy of angle sections with lowered thickness flanges.
EFFECT: less loss of yield.
