FIELD: metallurgy; rolling.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in manufacture of equal-flange steel channels. According to invention, billet is heated, rolled in several passes in horizontal and vertical grooved rolls with into sectional strip, splayed profile is formed and then channels are cooled and subjected to cold straightening with bending of flanges. During last pass rolling is carried out with forming of angle between wall and flange of channel equal to 88.4-89.5° and at cold straightening, flanges are bent through angle of 5.5-12°.
EFFECT: improved quality and increased yield.
