DRIVE FOR FIN-TYPE PROPELLER WINGS Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B63H1/36

Abstract RU 2287451 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding; drives for fin-type propeller wings.

SUBSTANCE: mounted on body flat are engine with reduction gear and power members and struts connected with side rods (larger rod and smaller rod) by means of bearings; larger rod is mounted on axle of rotor of engine reduction gear by means of adapter; end of larger rod is made between dowel pins of tail fin rod mounted in tail bush secured on body flat perpendicularly relative to it. End of rod of tail fin is provided with adapter for connection with tail wing of fin-type propeller. Side rods are mounted in bearings of struts in parallel relative to each other; fitted on their ends is adapter for connection with side wings of fin-type propeller. Central dowel pins of side rods are secured on different sides at center of side rods perpendicularly relative to them; end dowel pins of smaller rod mounted above side rods perpendicularly to them intersect perpendicularly side rods at points where they get in contact with dowel pins. Central dowel pins of smaller rod are secured at center of smaller rod perpendicularly relative to it and in parallel relative to each other; central dowel pin of larger rod is mounted between said dowel pins of smaller rod perpendicularly relative to them; it is secured on larger rod. Larger rod passes perpendicularly under smaller rod intersecting it between central dowel pins of smaller rod. Larger rod is mounted in bearings and its one end is connected with adapter of engine reduction gear; end dowel pin is mounted on its other end perpendicularly relative to rod axis; end dowel pin is located between dowel pins of tail rod mounted on rod of tail fin in parallel relative to each other but at deflection from axis to different sides. Lower part of tail fin rod is mounted in tail bush secured on flat of fin-type propeller body; adapter connecting the tail fin with tail of fin-type propeller is secured on upper end of tail fin rod.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability, safety and efficiency; simplified construction.
