FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building. Proposed marine engine represents a rotary oscillatory engine. Rotor shaft is arranged vertically and jointed to the frame that can turn together with rotor. Said frame has sleeved to receive blade axle. In forward work stroke, blade rowing surface is located vertically, while, in back stroke, it is located horizontally. Blades are turned around their axes by motor and reduction gear mounted on aforesaid frame. Marine engine comprises also compressed air cylinder with combustible mix used to start the engine.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, simple design.
